The Pavilion Foundation School

Pavilion School

Overview

The Pavilion Foundation School (PFS) is designed to meet the educational needs of the Pavilion Residential Treatment Center's residents, as well as the needs of the population served. For more information contact the school at 217-373-1889.

  • Student’s ages - 8 to 19
  • Disabilities - severe and profound Social/Emotional Disorder and/or Learning Disabilities
  • Classroom size - maximum of 10 students
  • Each classroom staffed with certified Special Education teacher and a classroom aide
  • Additional services: School Social Workers, Behavior Interventionist, Adaptive PE Teacher and Speech Pathologist

Mission Statement

In collaboration with home and community the mission of the Pavilion Foundation School is to introduce concepts and implement programs which will instill within our students the knowledge and understanding necessary to utilize critical thinking skills, value life long learning, and to recognize and accept their responsibility to themselves, others and the community at large. We will accomplish this in a safe and secure learning environment which recognizes and affirms our students’ dignity, cultural diversity and potential for success.
